Ciphix wins Workato Customer Impact Partner Award 2026 for integration approach with Facilicom

Ciphix has won the Workato Customer Impact Partner Award 2026 for the impact we are creating together with Facilicom Group. With a new integration approach, a fragmented IT landscape is being transformed step by step into a scalable foundation for further digital growth.
This award reflects a challenge many organisations will recognise: systems grow, integrations pile up, and IT becomes increasingly complex and slower to adapt. The question is no longer whether modernisation is needed, but how to do it without rebuilding everything from scratch.
From fragmented landscape to scalable foundation
Facilicom Group, one of the largest facility services providers in the Benelux with more than 21,000 employees, is in the middle of exactly this kind of transformation. During the migration from SAP ECC to AFAS, it became clear that the existing integration landscape was no longer fit for purpose.
The landscape consisted of many point-to-point integrations based on SAP PI. This made management complex, slowed down processes, and led to greater error sensitivity and additional pressure on IT teams.
Together with Facilicom, we are building an event-driven architecture on Workato. Step by step, this is creating a foundation in which systems can communicate more flexibly and new applications can be connected more easily.
Early results and concrete progress
The new approach is already proving its value in practice, with an initial set of concrete results:
- 6 core systems connected via the integration platform
- 14 API modules developed as reusable building blocks
- 2x faster onboarding of new applications
- 5x faster error handling and recovery
These first results show that integration is not just a technical issue, but also a direct enabler of speed and agility across the organisation.
At the same time, the biggest impact is still to come. Work is currently underway on a number of larger integrations around employee data, which will go live in the coming period and further strengthen the foundation.
One foundation instead of separate integrations
Where every new integration used to require custom work, Workato is increasingly becoming the central integration and automation platform. From this platform, integrations between AFAS and other core systems are orchestrated, including Mendix applications and various HR and learning systems.
The focus is on creating a scalable base: not rebuilding every time, but working with reusable components and event streams.
More than just technology
What this transformation shows is that successful integration goes beyond tooling. Together with Facilicom, we are also working on standards, architectural guidelines, and a reusable framework for future expansions.
Even in more technically complex situations, such as systems without webhook functionality, robust solutions are being delivered. This creates not just a working integration, but a platform that is ready for further digital development.
What this means for organisations looking to accelerate
This case shows that modern integration is not an end point, but a movement.
Many organisations remain stuck with isolated integrations and temporary fixes. That works, until complexity and speed begin to work against each other. By investing in a scalable integration foundation, organisations create room to move faster, connect new systems more easily, and truly drive innovation forward.
For us, the award is a welcome recognition, but above all, it is confirmation of an approach that is already proving its value and will continue to deliver even more in the period ahead.
