They chose to deploy a low-code platform, built in partnership with Ciphix, to quickly respond to the dynamic needs of the market. The platform gives Milieu Service Nederland the flexibility to significantly improve their processes around partners, customers and employees.

Changing market needs and digitalization

Milieu Service Nederland’s IT systems no longer met the growing demands of the market. A lot of information was entered manually, which was time-consuming. Therefore, the company decided to embark on a digitization project. Ciphix was chosen to develop a new platform, based on low-code technology, allowing the company to respond faster to changing circumstances and execute processes more efficiently.

Optimization of billing and customer management

Partner portal for faster billing
The Waste Innovation Network (WIN) platform that Ciphix built offers significant efficiency and customer satisfaction benefits. Partners can now provide their own feedback on waste collection through a dedicated portal, which speeds up administrative processes and simplifies billing. The system provides real-time insights and saves time in both processing data and sending invoices.

Customer portal for greater control and insight
The “MyMSN” customer portal gives customers access to detailed information about their waste streams, locations and the status of collections. Customers can request additional empties, giving them more control and insight into their waste management. Milieu Service Nederland has already invited 8,000 customers to the portal, helping to improve customer relations and service.

Improved internal communication
The platform has also improved internal communication. Phone calls are more efficiently routed to the appropriate department, ensuring faster handling of customer inquiries and avoiding unnecessary transfers.

Digital signing of contracts
With the new platform, contracts can be signed digitally, significantly speeding up the process of customer sign-off. All contract data is stored centrally, making the process better organized and clearer.

Billing further automated
Milieu Service Nederland is in the process of integrating its billing app. After a thorough testing phase, the company will fully transition to the new billing system, which will eliminate manual invoice processing and focus on quality control and troubleshooting. This will further improve billing efficiency and accuracy.
