The portal also enables easy communication between a ship’s chief engineer and an analyst. The chief engineer can upload measurements he performs based on a schedule provided by a program manager. With that data, analysts can diagnose machine conditions and report their findings along with recommendations through the portal. With the results, customers can perform predictive maintenance and prevent problems on their vessels.
