We recently announced our partnership with private equity investor Mentha, which generated a lot of enthusiasm and attention. In this article, Koen (CEO) and Marijn (CSO) look ahead: what does this partnership mean for Ciphix’s clients and what value does Mentha add?
May 2023: The Strategic Reason Behind Collaboration
Ciphix has built a strong customer portfolio in recent years. By working with customers, Ciphix has improved and expanded its services and technology partnerships in various sectors. This has led us to a strong focus on Hyperautomation.
Marijn: “This focus also creates customer expectations, such as higher quality, more expertise and seniority. To meet these expectations, we want to accelerate in the following areas: attracting experienced personnel, working more intensively with technology partners and acquiring companies active in the Hyperautomation market that are complementary to Ciphix.” Thanks to the cooperation with Mentha, these ambitions can become a reality.
Why Mentha?
Koen: “Mentha has a solid and broad track record, also in the technology sector. This convinced us that we could take the right steps together. Equally important to us is the personal click. Since its inception, Ciphix has been built around a number of core values, which has led to a close-knit culture. We want to preserve this culture, and Mentha fully supports this.”
Synergies of the Collaboration
Koen: “There are several synergies. Mentha is expanding its network, knowledge and experience in building sustainable organizations, which we are already benefiting from. They have also spent the past year and a half conducting extensive research into the Hyperautomation market, including the various players and growth opportunities. This knowledge, combined with our own expertise, is going to help us tremendously in making important decisions in the coming period.”
What Does This Mean for Our Customers?
Marijn: “A few weeks ago, I had lunch with one of our customers and we quickly got the question, ‘What does this mean for us?’ The main benefit for customers is a wider range of technologies, such as Low-code applications, Integration (iPaaS), Process Mining and more expertise in Hyperautomation strategy, governance and use cases. By attracting the right knowledge and experience, we will improve the quality and speed of our implementations. Customers will notice this immediately.”
What Can We Expect in the Near Future?
Marijn: “Ciphix will mainly continue what we were already doing, but at a faster pace. Our focus is still on making customers happy by pursuing our mission: taking the robot out of the human. Koen: “The most important thing for us, after this announcement, is to regain focus on the goals we recently set: to maintain our position as Hyperautomation specialists in Europe.
