What is the difference between Mendix and OutSystems?
Both Mendix and OutSystems provide a low-code platform that makes creating applications much faster compared to the traditional way of working. Still, there are important differences between the two platforms. We work with Mendix because the platform is secure, reliable and innovative. In addition, Mendix is designed with the goal of closing the gap between business and IT, that philosophy aligns with our way of working in which we help companies take the next step in their digital transformation.
How does Mendix work?
Mendix works with a visual interface to build applications. In Mendix, you use existing building blocks that contain a specific piece of functionality. For example, many applications need a login screen, user management or a map. Because this functionality is often available as a building block, it does not have to be rebuilt for each application, but usually only configured. This saves a lot of time and makes it easier to add new functionality to an application.
How can I get my development team to build applications with Mendix?
Developing applications with low-code requires a different way of working than the traditional method, especially due to the increased speed at which applications are built.
