What is it and what does it get you?
The Workato Ciphix Academy is a five-day, physical and professional training course for Workato builders with Foundation 1 and 2 knowledge who want to advance to enterprise integration specialists.
During the academy, participants work on one central and realistic use case. Starting from analysis and architecture, they build a complete integration solution, including design, implementation, deployment and monitoring. This creates not only knowledge, but direct applicability in practice.
The academy goes beyond standard training and focuses on topics essential for scalable and sustainable integration:
- Integration architecture and enterprise design patterns
- Governance, documentation and reusability
- Data transformation and data quality
- Error handling, monitoring and observability
- High-code extensions and SDK best practices
- Use of Workato capabilities such as Business Rules, Datatables, Data Pipelines, API Management and Insights
- Positioning integration within a modern enterprise IT landscape
Upon completion, participants will be able to independently identify, analyze and realize use cases in a scalable and maintainable manner. Not just build but design with vision. This accelerates adoption, reduces risk and ensures a sustainable integration strategy.

Workshop details
The Workato Ciphix Academy consists of five physical training days in small groups, leaving room for interaction, depth and personal guidance. The focus is on hands-on work, direct application and knowledge that connects to the practice of your organization.
The program is built around the full integration lifecycle:
Day 1: Analysis and Architecture
We start by analyzing the use case, identifying integration patterns and designing a scalable architecture.
Day 2: Design and data
We translate architecture into concrete integration flows and delve into data modeling, transformation and governance.
Day 3: Build and best practices
Hands-on build with a focus on reusability, error handling and enterprise design patterns.
Day 4: Deployment and Monitoring
We cover CI/CD, version control, monitoring and observability to make integrations manageable and reliable.
Day 5: Enterprise Integration and Future
We connect the solution to broader IT strategy, AI and automation. Participants present their solution and receive feedback.
Result: a clear integration framework, practical experience and concrete tools to position Workato within the organization as a strategic platform.
