We have developed an automated solution to perform the Month-End Closing check, so that our client’s employees can focus on more value-adding activities. Using RPA technology, created a digital workforce to perform this process. When the RPA robot is triggered at the end of the month, it checks all sales orders until no sales orders are left. Our solution is built to perform the following steps:
- Extract BI reports containing data on sales orders from SAP Netweaver;
- Check delivery status;
- Check invoice status;
- Check post-calculation status;
- Adjust and save billing plan in SAP;
- Send email with report (including all checks) to business controllers
Now that our client has implemented a digital workforce to perform the Month End Closing, this process is fully automated (100%) and thereby saves over 480 hours on a yearly basis. As no human interference is required, an error reduction of 95% is achieved. But more importantly, our client’s employees don’t have to perform these repetitive steps anymore at the end of each month, which positively contributes to their work satisfaction.
Our RPA robot offers a solution that is effective, efficient and reliable. Business controllers don’t need to spend their valuable time on this repetitive and mundane task anymore, and focus on more value-adding activities.
