Based in Rotterdam, Ciphix is one of the fastest-growing RPA and AI implementation partners in Europe. Through integrating multiple innovative technologies, Ciphix Develops ‘virtual employees’ with the aim of taking the robot out of the human. For the current expansion, and further growth, of our organization, we are looking for a controller.

Become part of our team

As our Controller, you will be responsible for taking our financial and business control to the next level. Your role is balanced between providing crucial day-to-day administrative and financial support to the company (financial control) and helping to steer the company long-term in the right direction (business control). You will report directly to the managing directors and work together with the external administration office.

You are an eager, ambitious finance professional with tech scaleup or similar experience. As Controller you love to professionalize (and automate :-)) our accounting processes and systems. Furthermore you like to structure complex financial data into accurate, insightful and presentable financial and management information. In your role you will have regular interaction with the other Ciphix teams to make sure all financial processes are efficient and ready for growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Financial control
    • Contact person for external payroll admin and bookkeeping
    • Lead invoicing process
    • Prepare the processing of payments and expenses
    • Monitor WBSO administration
    • Keep an up to date archive of contracts and other key files
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our finance processes
  • Business control
    • Oversee the budget process and compare to actuals
    • Maintain and optimise our KPI framework
    • Create and maintain reports for internal and external stakeholders
    • Make analyses on our KPI data, such as sales pipeline and time booking entries and communicate suggestions for improvement
    • Support sales with financial proposals

Who are you?

  • You possess a university level Master’s degree
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • You are a team player and are able to work to deadlines
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You have affinity with process automation and technology
  • You are interested in innovative technologies such as RPA and AI
  • You are available on a Full-time basis
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch
