Brandon was working as a delivery driver for Albert Heijn while looking for a new challenge after his first experience as a backend developer. A few months earlier, he had already interviewed with Ciphix for a different role. The conversation had gone well, but in the end, someone else was selected.<\/p>\n

“I had already had an introductory interview for another role, but eventually someone else got the position. Two weeks later, he was back for another interview. After completing a practical case study, he received the call he had been hoping for.<\/p>\n No one reached out to invite him back. Brandon recognised an opportunity and decided to take it himself. That initiative perfectly reflects one of Ciphix’s core values: Take the shot. Own the result. As a backend developer, however, he missed one important thing: seeing the impact of what he had built.<\/p>\n “I really enjoyed programming, but I could spend an entire week writing backend logic without having anything tangible to show for it.
